Ticket printing and coupon solutions provider FutureLogic will celebrate a 15-year milestone in the gaming industry at the Global Gaming Expo Oct. 1.

The business, recently acquired by JCM Global, has provided ticketing and coupon technology for 30 years, with 15 of those developing gaming technology.

"FutureLogic developed and launched the first TITO gaming printer (PSA-66ST), in collaboration with IGT designers, for the introduction of EZ-Pay," said Nick Micalizzi, vice president of sales and marketing, North America, in a press release. "Today, we have over 1.6 million TITO printers installed worldwide, and that's more printers than all other manufacturers combined. We estimate that more than 4 billion tickets per year are printed via FutureLogic printers across North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia."

GEN3 Evolution is the company's latest thermal printer model. It features a 450-ticket capacity, photographic style printing, a low paper sensor to cut down on waste, up to 8IPS and the ability to print a ticket "in less than 1 second," the company said.

The kiosk-friendly printer contains grayscale printing technology via temperature control for high resolution images. Firmware is updated by sliding a pre-loaded thumb drive into the printer while it is still connected to a slot machine.
