Furniture Wizard intros POS kiosk and iPad inventory app

Furniture Wizard, a technology provider to the furniture industry, announced the release of its iPad inventory application and touchscreen kiosk application, according to Furniture World.

"Our goal has always been and still is to create intelligent software solutions that any store is able to afford," company founder and President Martin Fischbein said in the article.

The Chula Vista, California-based company also unveiled iFurniture Inventory, an iPad application that uses a Bluetooth scanner for tracking stock and is designed to make the inventory process more efficient. The app includes photos of stock to help locate items.

Furniture Wizard's kiosk and desktop application Ultimate Point of Sale serves as a digital catalog and salesperson. The Windows 8 program features store inventory and suggests items to add to the virtual shopping cart.
