Fendi London dolls up luxury handbag vending kiosk

Luxury brand Fendi has opened a flagship store in London that features a handbag vending machine, reports Handbag.com. The store opened May 1 on London's fashionable Oxford Street.

"Handbags will be 'ironically' displayed inside luxurious vending machines," Fendi chairman and CEO Pietro Beccari told Handbag.com.

Another example of a vending machine being used to sell luxury goods is Channel’s mascara vending machine at London’s Selfridges department store. According to myfatpocket.com, the machine was used in the May 2013 launch of Channel’s Le Volume de Chanel mascara.
