European and Asian airports deploy foreign currency exchange kiosks

TravelersBox have deployed foreign currency exchange kiosk to convert unused money into funds for e-wallets or gift cards.

Several European and Asian airports have deployed foreign currency exchange kiosks, developed by TravelersBox, to allow users to convert unused foreign currency into funds for e-wallets or gift cards, according to a TravelersBox press release.

Users can send their funds to a variety of platforms including: Paypal, Qiwi, iTunes and Starburks. In addition, users can also choose to donate the funds to various causes. The options vary based on the country and its regulations.

TravelersBox currently has 45 kiosks in four countries: Turkey, the U.K., Italy and Georgia, and the company plans to deploy to the Philippines and Brazil in the upcoming weeks. It plans to roll out 150 additional kiosks by the end of 2015.

TravelersBox plans to acquire revenue through affiliation fees with its partners, according to the release.
