Custom insole maker eSoles Custom Footbeds, an officially licensed PGA Tour product, is scheduled to feature its 3D TruCapture foot scanning kioskat the PGA Merchandising Show, January 28-30, in Orlando, Fla.
According to a release from the company,eSoles' show display will provide golf retailers with a firsthand look at how the company's 3D kiosk system will help provide not only a new revenue stream, but also a unique marketing and sales angle that will help attract new customers. More than 100 PGA Tour players have been scanned and currently wear eSoles custom footbeds.
The 3D TruCapture kiosks take two scans of users' feet — one standing flatfooted, another with the foot supported by an air pillow — to help them pick the appropriate eSoles footbed, or insole, available in store, or to order a custom-made eSoles footbed.
"Now retailers can benefit from the world's most advanced foot support and alignment technology by being able to promote and provide the same customized footbeds worn by PGA Tour professionals and other top athletes," said eSoles CEO Glen Hinshaw. "ESoles 3D TruCapture Kiosk System is a win for golf enthusiasts as well as retailers themselves who are hungry for innovative, results-driven tech products that will lure customers into their stores."
