ICE Currency Exchange, one of Canada's largest foreign currency exchange providers, has installed a self-service foreign currency vending machine at Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport, according to a press release. The machine, one of the first of its kind in the country, allows passengers departing Canada to purchase travel cash in 24 foreign currencies in less than a minute and is designed to help travelers avoid airport exchange lines, foreign ATM fees and the challenge of finding currency services upon arrival.

Located near the airport's main entrance, the machine operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is accessible even to non-travelers through complimentary 15-minute parking outside the terminal. Customers can purchase currency packages ranging from CAD $100 to $900 and pay using credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The kiosk also provides electronic receipts, daily updated exchange rates and service in both English and French.

Company officials described the machine as a convenience tool that allows travelers to arrive at their destinations with local currency already in hand. The service is intended to support travelers heading to destinations across Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, South America, Mexico and the United States, where cash may still be needed for transportation, tips and small purchases.
