Costa Coffee adds tea to 7K UK Express machines

Costa Coffee has expanded its menu to include tea at its 7,000 Express machines across the U.K., according to a Grocery Gazette report.
The addition of tea complements the existing coffee-based drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, mochas and hot chocolate already available at these self-serve kiosks located in shops, supermarkets, travel hubs and gas stations.
"We know how much our customers value a great cup of coffee, and the same goes for tea — it's more than just a beverage; it's part of our daily rituals and even our relationships," Andrew Miller, express and corporate sales director at Costa Coffee, told the news outlet. "Not only do our Costa Express machines deliver high-quality crafted coffees like Latte, Cappuccino and Americano, but our customers can now order tea from over 7,000 Costa Express machines."
Costa Coffee, recently voted the U.K.'s favorite coffee chain for the 15th consecutive year, cited the growing demand for tea on the go as the reason for this expansion.
