Comark intros pedestal kiosk

Comark Corp. has added a pedestal kiosk to its retail self-service product line. Constructed of cold rolled steel, the kiosk includes a 19-inch LCD with a resistive touchscreen framed inside a metal bezel with a variety of CPU choices, according to a company press release.

It's ADA reach-compliant and can be configured with various peripheral options, including keyboard, thermal printer, magnetic card reader, camera, microphone, speakers, bar code scanner, card scanner, RFID reader, biometric reader, proximity sensor and privacy screen. Custom colors and private branding options are also available.

The kiosk has a small footprint and is intended for a variety of retail and self-service applications, such as information directories, registration, ordering, loyalty/rewards, surveys, coupons, check-in, ticketing, lobby management, wayfinding, reservations, Internet access, live help, human resources and health care, according to the company.
