Vending company AVT Inc. has announced it will integrate the PayRange mobile payment system in its new coffee kiosks. The company plans to add this PayRange device to its coffee kiosks within the next month, according to the press release.

With the new system, customers will be able to connect to the machine with their smartphone and touch one button to complete the purchase. The system is designed to not store credit card information or other private data. The system will be rolled out for a beta test at U.S. military bases.

"If there was ever a group of people that needed quick access to freshly brewed premium coffee without the hassle of carrying cash or credit cards, it is our men and women in the armed forces," said Wayne Salvino, president of AVT. "I am proud that the first new units incorporating our innovative Bluetooth-enabled feature will go to those that wear the uniform and defend our freedom."

The coffee kiosks offer a variety of espressos and coffees, along with food options such as fruits and salads. The kiosks will also be integrated with AVT's wireless backend control system to offer data on sales, inventory and customized reports.
