Civiq Smartscapes acquires Vertigo

Civiq Smartscapes has officially acquired display company Vertigo Digital Displays.

Vertigo designs displays for outdoor and indoor QSR and retail environments and Civiq provides technology for urban infrastructure, according to the announcement.

Civiq works on smartscapes to improve urban access to information and commerce while improving safety and efficiency, according to the announcement. With the acquisition of Vertigo, Civiq plans to improve its outdoor Smart City initiatives.

"The addition of Vertigo is a strong step forward for Civiq in expanding our technology and product portfolio," said Erwin Rezelman, president of Civiq. "The Vertigo team has over a decade of experience in designing and delivering outdoor digital technology systems and will enhance Civiq's core competencies in integrated Smart City solutions development and deployment."
