Motion picture exhibitor Cinemark Holdings Inc. announced today the renovation of a 16-screen Rave-branded movie theater in Huber Heights, Ohio, including plans for a self-service kiosk.
Renovation plans include recliners in all auditoriums; lobby and concession stand updates; bar area with frozen cocktails, beer and wine; and a ticketing kiosk located in the lobby. The 7737 Waynetown Blvd. location is scheduled for completion the summer of 2015.
"The Huber Heights complex has been part of the community for over 25 years," Cinemark CEO Tim Warner said in the announcement. "This full remodel will enable us to continue to offer our guests the highest levels of comfort and technology. Cinemark's new Luxury Lounger recliners will be the perfect addition to this popular theater and will offer customers a complete entertainment experience."
Among the scheduled renovations is the new self-service feature, "Print at Home" ticketing, enabling customers to print tickets at home or bypass lobby lines and retrieve their tickets from the theater's kiosk. Customers can also purchase tickets via Cinemark's mobile app.
