Chicago transit authority deploys first Intersection IxNConnect platform

The Chicago Transit Authority has become the first transit system to manage its digital signage through Intersection's IxNConnect platform, which provides a central hub for managing and monitoring delivery of real-time arrival and schedule information, service updates, transit campaigns and emergency messaging to screens systemwide — targeted by line, station and individual display, according to a press release. 

IxNConnect helps transit agencies better communicate with their customers, enhance the rider experience and maximize revenue with adjacent advertising, the release said.  

The IxNConnect platform integrates with transit agency data feeds and powers Intersection's suite of digital displays. These include IxNSight displays, which show real-time transit details alongside dynamic advertising content, and IxNTouch kiosks, which provide interactive wayfinding and advertising information.
