Cellphone-charging kiosks to debut at BizBash Live

Kiosk manufacturer Veloxity has announced it plans to demo its commercial cellphone-charging kiosks on Oct. 27 at the trade show BizBash Live.

Kiosk manufacturer Veloxity has announced it plans to demo its commercial cell phone charging kiosks on Oct. 27 at the trade show BizBash Live at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. The kiosks are designed to charge nearly every mobile device on the market, according to the press release.

The kiosk is designed with a built-in locker and LCD screen to utilize for display ads, branding and sponsorships. Veloxity sells and rents its kiosks at events, universities, airports, hospitals, casinos and restaurants. Veloxity plans to expand its offerings to events due to recent data that shows a 3.6 percent increase in trade show attendance. Also, companies plan to increase their spending at trade shows by 26 percent, according to a survey.

"It is essential for trade show visitors to quickly charge up their devices," Krassi Popox, CEO of Veloxity, said in the release. "Exhibitors are relying more on status updates and user content than ever before to convert sales prospects. Our phone-charging kiosks with lockers play a critical role on the trade show floor."
