Cbord is teaming up with Xenial, a restaurant and food service management technology provider, to deploy self-serve kiosk solutions for a seamless order and pay experience at hospitals and college campuses.
"Today's consumer demands convenience and speed," said Jim Hoefflin, president of Cbord and Horizon Software, in a press release. "By teaming up with Xenial, we have created a frictionless experience for the patron, empowering them to quickly order and pay with a variety of methods, including meal plans and declining balances."
The technology offers patrons, campuses and hospitals several benefits including a more customized ordering option. That, according to the release, is driving higher-value orders, improved patron control over the order experience and more accurate order processes. It can also reduce long lines and customer wait time, said the release.
"At Xenial, we strive to create quick and efficient experiences for consumers, while helping food service providers promote quality, variety and nutritive value in their menus," said Christopher Sebes, president of Xenial, in the release. "Through this partnership with CBORD, our self-order kiosks and other technologies will help dining facilities in places like university campuses and hospitals simplify their operations and give patrons exactly what they are looking for."
