Brightbox Inc., New York City-based provider of networked mobile charging, announced the release of the Brightbox Mark3 mobile charging platform at Hilton San Francisco at Union Square, Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch and YOTEL New York City.
Brightbox charging stations include a customized branding and messaging platform and are available in a variety colors. The Mark3 kiosk is designed to eliminate additional demands on staff and provide hotel guests safe and secure access to phone charging. Guests can use the charging stations for an unlimited time free of charge or for a nominal fee. With the swipe of a credit card, guests can access the kiosk via the 10-inch interactive touchscreen, then plug their mobile device into a charging chamber, and swipe their card again later to open the chamber and retrieve their phone.
The stations come with retractable charging cables and larger chambers to accommodate most mobile phones, including "phablets," the company said. The UL Brightbox stations are PCI compliant and employ end-to-end encryption for securing data.
