AVT Inc. is partnering with Gulf Oil LLC to name Marley Coffee as the official provider of self-service coffee for Gulf stores.
Of Gulf's 2,800 retail locations, three have received Marley Coffee kiosks at present and two have been installed in Massachusetts hospitals, according to a company announcement. Also carrying Marley kiosks are the Quantico, Va., Marine Corps Base, a community college in southern Florida and a Buick dealership in Everett, Wash., among others, AVT reported.
AVT expects the Automated Retail Income Development agency to secure placement of 20 to 30 more kiosks in the third quarter.
Marley Coffee founder Rohan Marley, son of Bob Marley, began the self-service coffee company to honor his father.
"My father came from the farmland in Nine Mile. There, he learned a deep respect for nature and humanity that helped guide his life. His dream was to return one day. Our coffee was founded to honor my father. In your hand, you are holding a piece of our dream. One Love," Marley said on his company's website.
