ArmorActive intros Surface Pro tablet enclosure

Responding to the demands for Microsoft Surface Pro tablet kiosk enclosures, ArmorActive announced the release of the Surface Pro Metal Jacket, featuring a full-size USB 3.0 port.

The enclosure also comes with a USB extension adapter, which allows cables to be routed through while still maintaining a sleek design, the company said in a news release.

Other features for the Surface Pro Metal Jacket Windows kiosk include:

• Key-locking tablet security
• Durable and secure powder-coated steel construction
• Open Windows button access
• Administration access to buttons and ports
• 75mm and 100mm VESA mounting pattern
• Front camera access while tablet remains secured

"We started this company with our first product, the Full Metal Jacket, and an iPad," said Scott Paul, founder of ArmorActive.
