AR Systems releases backend management system with anonymous shopper tracking

AR Systems, a provider of self-service kiosks, automated retailing systems and custom vending solutions, unveiled its new backend management system that provides machine reports down to the product level.
The new dashboard includes:
- Operator portal – Data is linked through all report configurations, including dynamic charts and graphs, down to each machine, location, product and shopper.
- Real-time alerts and notifications – Operators can see everything happening in the system, including transactions, inventory, machine alerts and more.
- Role-based portal access – Managers' and stockers' access can be restricted to certain areas of the portal.
- Transactions – Extensive details on transactions, including detailed tracking of shopper interactions and events from start to finish.
- Shoppers – Opt-in anonymous tracking of shoppers via mobile phone.
- Shopper receipts – Receipts sent via SMS to shopper's smart phone.
- Promos and coupons – Operators can market promos and coupons to returning shoppers (tracked anonymously, by mobile phone) based on their purchase habits.
