Apex Supply Chain Technologies recently revealed its self-serve restaurant kiosk at the National Restaurant Association show. This kiosk, called Apex Anywhere, will allow customers to skip lines and grab their food or drinks quickly, according to a press release.
The kiosk is designed to carry food or drinks which are loaded from the back by employees. Customers can order food online and employees will place it into the kiosk for customer pick up. It utilizes the Apex Trajectory Cloud to create a unified transaction platform and provide buyer analytics.
"Apex AnyWhere systems allow restaurants to make it even faster for customers to place an online order, skip the register, pick up their order from a stylish, sleek and secure locker and even pay with virtually no waiting," Apex CEO Kent Savage said in the release. "Customers will appreciate the automated convenience and time-savings, and use the service again and again."
