Another North Carolina library installs a mental health screening kiosk

The Watauga County Library in Boone, North Carolina has installed a MindKare mental health screening kiosk, according to GoBlueRidge.net. This marks another North Carolina county library to install a MindKare kiosk; in February, The Ashe County North Carolina library installed a MindKare kiosk.

The kiosk is a touchscreen device that enables users to learn about behavioral health conditions, take confidential assessments and find local treatment resources. The kiosk is designed for use in public spaces to reduce the stigma of mental health disorders like depression and anxiety. Assessments are also available online.
