AirDroid Business introduces kiosk mode feature

AirDroid Business, a management solution for unattended Android devices, has introduced a kiosk mode feature in response to customer demand for kiosk capabilities within their mobile device management solution, according to Android Headlines, a website covering Android and technology news.

Anson Shiong, CEO of Sand Studio, the developers of AirDroid Business, said the kiosk mode feature was developed to eliminate the need for businesses to invest a lot of money to integrate digital kiosks, ad signage, interactive ordering and information stations in their operations. The features give users the ability to turn any mobile device in their network into a digital kiosk without spending without spending tens of thousands of dollars.

Kiosk mode features also include: device configuration, device management, custom branding, password protection and app whitelist, according to the Airdroid website.
