Ultron spawned many clones of himself during the Age of Ultron movie, and the movie in turn is spawning vast numbers of promotions and tie-ins.
To promote its Avengers tie-in figurines and special coupon offers, 7-Eleven Hong Kong teamed up with JCDecaux to deploy a wall-size Age of Ultron poster and coupon dispenser. The poster was featured prominently in the MTR Causeway Bay station in Hong Kong, according to an announcement from JCDecaux.
The wall poster featured a QR code, a hand-shaped dispenser button and a picture of an Avengers figurine set. Users could scan the QR code for an e-coupon to 7-Eleven or receive a physical copy by pressing their hand against the button.
Users could sign up to win the Avengers figurines, which featured Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Iron Man and Hawkeye, by using the QR code to go to 7-Eleven's campaign site. From there, they could play a browser game to sign up to win the set.
