Peerless-AV introduces outdoor kiosk enclosure

Peerless-AV, a developer of audio and video solutions and accessories, has launched its KOP555 outdoor kiosk enclosure.
The kiosk supports 4K ultra HD digital signage displays, which have a resolution four times that of standard HD displays. It will be displayed with a 4K Samsung display showing Samsung content at InfoComm, booth number C7918, June 18-20, in Las Vegas. However, the enclosure supports 4K displays from any manufacturer, Peerless-AV said.
The KOP555 kiosk enclosure protects the display and other electrical components, making it suitable for outdoor digital signage. It offers self-service configuration, turnkey installation and hardware integration from partners including NEC Display Solutions, Samsung, Sharp, Panasonic, Philips MMD, LG and AOpen.
The KOP555’s other features include: outdoor speakers; temperature regulation with heating and cooling units; integrated services offered for a standalone enclosure or in conjunction with existing signage systems; sealed protection from dust, dirt and hose-directed water; and choice of colors, vinyl wraps and lights.
