Human resources app company Apploi announced it has been shortlisted for PITCH, an event comprised of 200 startups that "pitch" products to more than 150 judges in a competition to become startup of the year at Web Summit in Dublin, Ireland, Nov. 4-6, 2014.
Apploi is one of 100 early-stage beta companies selected in its category for the company's job application platform available via mobile app, websites and public and private iPad kiosks. The company's kiosks are stationed in libraries, workforce centers and shopping malls around the country. Applicants can apply and interview via audio or video using Apploi's human resources solution.
Apploi CEO Adam Lewis said in the announcement, "This is exceptionally exciting for all of us at Apploi. To be selected as one of the most promising 100 startups in our category, from around the world, means a great deal. We are now ready to PITCH, and we hope to go the entire way!"
Apploi has more than 2,200 clients, including Massage Envy, Cinnabon and UNIQLO.
