IBASE Technology Inc. (TPEx: 8050), a leading manufacturer of industrial computers and embedded systems, announces the AMI242 series fanless systems. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial applications, the AMI242 combines robust performance, versatile connectivity, and exceptional reliability in a fanless design.

The AMI242 features the proprietary IBASE MBE240 board, supporting the latest 14th/13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5/i3 35W TDP desktop processors. It has two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets, allowing up to 64GB of memory for seamless multitasking and enhanced system responsiveness. The AMI242AFM model features the MBE240AF motherboard with Intel Q670E PCH, supporting non-ECC memory, while the AMI242AFM-R model uses the MBE240AF-R board with Intel R680E PCH and ECC memory support.

The fanless system offers comprehensive connectivity options, including two Intel® 2.5G LAN ports, two Intel® GbE ports supporting 802.3at PoE+, and three M.2 sockets (M-Key/B-Key/E-Key) for expandability and customization. It also supports PCI Express Generation 5 for one PCI-E (16x) expansion slot, ensuring high-speed data transfer for various peripherals.

The AMI242 includes over/under/reverse voltage protection and operates within a wide temperature range of -20°C to 70°C, making it ideal for industrial automation, smart retail, and medical environments. It also features dual SIM slots for WWAN redundancy, iAMT (16.1), and TPM (2.0). Extensive front and rear panel I/O options include multiple USB ports, HDMI outputs, RJ-45 ports, antenna holes, and expansion slots. The system supports RAID 0/1 configurations with two 2.5” storage options, enhancing its data storage capabilities. The PCI-E slot with the IP218 expansion card supports the latest PCI-E Gen.5 bandwidth of 32GT/s, allowing high-end graphics cards and other high-speed peripheral cards.
