Xerox has announced it is investing in telehealth kiosk provider HealthSpot, a move that will allow the company to rapidly expand kiosk deployment within the health care industry.
The team plans to launch HealthSpot kiosks in retail pharmacies, long-term care centers, emergency departments and large employer locations across the nation over the next five years. Xerox also plans to combine its software platform with its business process services knowledge to offer cloud hosting, claims eligibility and submission solutions, and system integration. Xerox's IT infrastructure will provide the 40-square foot kiosks with appointment booking for linking insurance coordination and electronic health records.
The average visit to a HealthSpot station takes 15 minutes, the announcement said.
