LEICESTER, U.K. -- Working Solutions (Creative IT) has launched Acquire, a family of four interactive kiosks for retailers.
Acquire will let retailers offer customers multimedia information at the point of purchase, according to a news release. The system has the capability of displaying video, text, sound, photos or a flash movie on a single page when customers scan a barcode or press a button designating a particular product.
The terminal lets customers browse and find the right product for them without feeling pressured by a salesperson, the release said.
Working Solutions can help retailers build a custom, interactive sales channel with such features as a virtual salesperson, interactive 3D models, comparative features guides and the ability to recommend products based upon the customers requirements. The company can also add call-center capability with which customers can place orders. Pricing was not disclosed.
Acquire comes in four versions: Acquire Lite, which can link to a system for pricing and inventory information; Acquire Suggest, which offers intelligent database technology that can suggest product options; Acquire Xpert, which lets the customer ask advice and can cross-sell products; and Acquire Pro, which has all features plus a larger database, the release said.
