Wondersign integrates kiosk with retail POS software

Wondersign, an interactive technology provider, has integrated its endless aisle catalog kiosk with RetailVantage point-of-sale software from ProfitSystems, according to Furniture Today.

The integration "allows both systems to talk to each other, so the SKU price is synced," said Casper Fopp, executive vice president for Wondersign.

If a customer orders an item, the kiosk talks to the POS system, which then creates the SKU on the spot. The associate doesn't have to create it manually.

Wondersign has kiosks in the Scott Living and Best Buy booths in the Retailer Resource Center; in the Art Van booth in the RCC lobby; and in the Ashley market showroom at High Point in North Carolina.
