Wincor Nixdorf supplies employee information terminals to BMW

July 8, 2014

Wincor Nixdorf has received an order from BMW Group to replace 500 information terminals at the automaker’s German and international locations.

Employees in BMW’s production plants and workshops who do not have their own dedicated workstations will be able to use the new terminals to view their flextime accounts and access information on the BMW corporate intranet.

As general contractor, Wincor Nixdorf will install customized CINEO terminals at BMW plants and operate them for a period of 54 months. The terminals will replace the first batch of information terminals installed for BMW by Wincor Nixdorf in 2004.

In addition to plants in Germany, the terminals are also being installed in Austria and the U.K.
