MEDFIELD, Mass. — Kiosk solutions manufacturer Comark Corp. has introduced its Wide-Touch FX kiosk, an indoor kiosk for malls, retail stores, quick-serve restaurants and indoor sporting venues. Typical uses include wayfinding, ticketing, gift registry, check-in, brand marketing and loyalty applications.
According to a news release, the Wide-Touch FX features a 19-inch wide-format touchscreen display with dual speakers, low-power computer options, and wired or wireless network connectivity. The kiosk provides 830 square inches of graphic design space for promotions, logos and advertising; it also has the capability of having a second display or light box for additional advertising. The FX model allows front access maintenance for authorized users, allowing quick access to internal components, which is ideal for printers and magnetic-stripe readers.
"The new Wide-Touch FX is an attractive and cost effective kiosk," said Paul Laracy, director of retail sales at Comark. "It is well suited for rapid deployment into virtually any venue."
