Waterloo, Wisconsin seeks help in building outdoor visitor kiosks

December 2, 2016

Waterloo, Wisconsin’s Community Development Authority and Community Development Committee are working on building and installing kiosks around the city for visitors to locate businesses and parks, according to The Courier.

The committees agreed to solicit donations to support the cost of the kiosks. They also agreed to advertise on Facebook to find people interested in helping to build the structures. CDA Chairman Matt Ziaja said they are looking for volunteer labor.

The committees are considering placement of the kiosks in Waterloo Firemen’s Park, near downtown Veterans' Park, by city hall, and possibly by the green space along a street where a former pickle factory was located.
