Austin, Texas-based Virtual Bridges Inc. announced the release of VERDE 7.2, an update to its virtual desktop infrastructure solution.
VERDE delivers an HTML5 client designed to enable seamless access to virtual desktops using an HTML5 compatible browser, and eliminate the need to download, install and configure software on end-user devices.
The update offers virtual desktop access and support on kiosks with limited administrator privileges to install a thick client.
Other features include:
-Support for Windows, Linux, Mac, iOS, Android and Chrome operating systems
-Ability to run on any desktop, laptop, thin client or tablet device with an HTML5 compatible browser
-Provides audio redirection between the client device and virtual desktop
-Presents a common look and feel, and operates the same way across all supported device types
VERDE is a cloud-based desktop virtualization solution that provides access to end-user applications, files and devices from any location. It contains support for Windows 8.1 goal images and clients.
