Virginia man accused of putting 9 skimmers on ATMs

Fairfax County Police have arrested a man named Marko Puskas, 40 for allegedly installing at least nine skimmers on ATMs and POS devices in Virginia, according to a report by WJLA.

Six of the devices were installed on ATMs with miniature cameras to steal PIN numbers. Most of the skimmers were found at 7-Eleven locations in Fairfax County.

Puskas is facing multiple charges including identity theft, possession of burglarious tools, conspiracy to commit a felony and unlawful use of payment card scanning devices and re-encoders.

Police recommend that customers check devices for unusual pinholes and to cover the keypad with your hand when entering a PIN.
