VeriFone expands international channels

VeriFone Systems, a provider of secure electronic payment solutions, has integrated Hypercom international distributors into its partner program (VIP), which provides distributors with access to support resources and technology to enhance their abilities to deliver the latest payment solutions to their markets, according to a company press release.

"The international distributors in the Hypercom network are a vital element in our strategy for geographical and product and services diversification," Jeffrey Dumbrell, VeriFone executive vice president, said in the release. "We are working aggressively to share the benefits of our VIP program with these new partners."

VeriFone completed its acquisition of Hypercom Corp. on Aug.4 and has revealed plans to grow and enhance all major product lines that existed prior to completing the acquisition. The VIP program offers Hypercom distributors a wide range of services including in-depth product and sales training and web-based access to exclusive strategic, product and technology information.
