NEWBURY, England -- Alphyra, European electronic transaction business, has teamed up with Infopoint, application developers for global retail and financial organizations, to develop a self-service, standalone mobile phone etop-up application.
According to a news release, NetShift has integrated the deployed kiosk solution, which involved the installation and configuration of the kiosk operating system, the application and remote management technology.
This technology enables continuous monitoring of usage and immediate updating of content on request using NetShift Enterprise remote management software and services.
The service provided by NetShift allows Alphyra to receive operational reports, custom reports, and usage reports on the kiosks currently installed in the UK, Holland, Germany and Spain. The reports alert Alphyra of any kiosk malfunction including paper jams and vandalism, the release said.
NetShift's management reporting allows Alphyra to combat fraudulent claims against the devices in the field. NetShift's enterprise software allows content such as advertising to be published remotely on the kiosks. See related story, "Netshift has managed services locked down tight."
