RICHARDSON, Texas -- Immediatek Inc., inventor of NetBurn technology for the digital distribution of Internet content, has announced the immediate availability of its NetBurn Station music-burning kiosks.
The unit features a touchscreen display for targeted multimedia advertising. The automated kiosk delivers a burned CD, complete with printed label, in a matter of minutes, according to a news release.
The broadband-enabled kiosk is tied into a central system that has the ability to update the kiosk's local catalog on-the-fly or at specific times. Music is stored on the kiosk through Immediatek's proprietary military-grade encryption until the time it is burned to disc.
NetBurn Secure software protects digital content delivered over the Internet, and keeps in tact the copyrights of the artists and labels, according to the release.
The units feature a touchscreen interface, mix-and-match track or full CD selection, and a plasma screen.
