USA Technologies (USAT) has added ePort Online to its existing ePort Connect payment processing service for small-ticket, self-serve retailing industries. The Malvern, Pennsylvania-based company says it made the service available in order to meet customer demand for online payment processing.
USAT says that ePort Online is designed to alleviate some of the time and effort its customers spend processing and following up on payments for invoiced services such as delivery services, equipment sales and catering services.
ePort Online allows customers to accept credit and debit payments for goods and services online and to retain secure, encrypted customer account information for scheduled and subscription payment. The payments can be received from any computer or mobile device.
ePort Online is being offered both as a stand-alone option and as part of USAT’s broader Integrated Payment Services model. Introduced in early 2014, Integrated Payment Services is an extension of ePort Connect, designed to reach multiple aspects of a self-service business.
"As our customers' businesses expand, we've made it easy for them to expand with us," Mike Lawlor, USAT's senior vice president of sales and business development, said in a statement. "Integrated Payment Services already includes payment services for micro markets and mobile applications, and now, with ePort Online, our customers can add online payment processing to the list of services supported by USAT.”
Since launching ePort Online on June 11, USAT has signed up 500 ePort Online user accounts, Lawlor said. “We are looking forward to introducing ePort Online to our 6,650 customers and anticipate that this added service capability will be well received,” he said.
