NEW YORK - US Airways Group Inc. (NYSE11210), on Wednesday posted a second-quarter net loss of $24 million, or 36 cents a diluted share, compared with last year's net income of $80 million, or $1.17 a share, Reuters reported.
Though the company's stock has dropped more than 50 percent since January, it had a bit of help from kiosks. It said it benefited in the quarter from self-ticketing kiosks that speed check-in at airports. Last year the airline began installing E-Ticket check-in kiosks at major airports.
