Universal Express expands gift card offering

NEW YORK - Universal Express Inc.'s (OTCBB: USXP) Universal Cash Express division has added more than 100 gift cards to its touchscreen terminals, thanks to its exclusive partnership with QGAC, Inc., according to a news release.

"These gift cards will be available for sale using our touchscreen kiosks placed near the check-out counter," said Brett Hudson, president of Universal Cash Express. Customers can browse the list of merchants by categories and view images of gift cards they wish to purchase. Once a gift card is purchased, Universal Cash Express will provide its customers with a thermal gift card that includes a unique product code as well as instructions on the back on how to receive the actual store-branded gift card.
