U-Vend inks lease agreement for Mini-Melts expansion

Self-service electronic kiosk provider U-Vend Inc. announced an equipment lease agreement with Perkins Industries LLC.

Self-service electronic kiosk provider U-Vend Inc. announced an equipment lease agreement with Perkins Industries LLC.

The agreement will provide U-Vend with financial support for expanding its Mini-Melts kiosks in Southern California.

"We are very pleased to partner with Perkin Industries, and in particular, its founder and CEO, Nicolas Perkin," U-Vend CEO Raymond Meyers said in a press release. "The working capital resources that Perkin Industries provides will allow us to immediately enter the Southern California market with our Mini-Melts self-serve kiosks. The kiosks will be located within big-box retailers, entertainment venues, shopping malls and other high-traffic locations."

U-Vend also acquired territory operation rights from Mini-Melts USA Inc. for the Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada regions, the company said. The agreement dictates U-Vend install at least 100 new Mini-Melts kiosks in the regions over the next two years.
