Twitter vending machine releases Diamondbacks prizes for tweets

The Arizona Diamondbacks have teamed up with Innovative Vending Solutions to deploy a Twitter vending machine at the team's baseball field in Phoenix, Arizona. Users can win Diamondback-themed prizes by tweeting the hashtag #DbacksManSol, according to a report by the Phoenix Business Journal.

Once users tweet =the hashtag, the vending machine will generate a code for the user to tweet. When the user tweets that code, the vending machine will vend a particular prize such as $20 voucher for food.

"We don't want one person to stand in front of the machine and tweet 50 times," Katie Krause, spokesperson for the Diamondbacks said in the report. "That's why the machine generates one code per user per game. Last weekend was our first weekend using it and people seemed to really enjoy it."

Users will get to try out the vending machine again on Sept. 9-11 during the series against the San Francisco Giants.
