Tulare County officials show how kiosks can be used for tourism

February 9, 2009

Visalia (Calif.) Times Delta: Tulare County tourism officials will unveil a demonstration of their visitor information kiosk at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif., this week. The system uses large-screen kiosks to provide 24-hour visitor information and access to government services. People can look up tourism destinations, view and print maps of communities, or search out restaurant and lodging locations by town. The vendors, Touch4Info, will be demonstrating how kiosks can be used as restaurant and dining guides to attract customers, and to help tourists find lodging accommodations in specific communities.
