Travel center provides 'full service' with kiosk additions

Westlake, Ohio-based TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, announced the expansion of its network with the opening of its newest TA, in Lincoln, Alabama.

Westlake, Ohio-based TravelCenters of America LLC, operator of the TA and Petro Stopping Centers travel center brands, announced the expansion of its network with the opening of its newest TA, in Lincoln, Alabama.

The Lincoln expansion will include TravelCenter's UltraOne Rewards kiosk and swiping system that allows professional drivers to earn and redeem points for purchases and showers at any participating TA and Petro Stopping Centers location nationwide.

The Lincoln location also offers ATM and check cashing services and will soon add Western Union and TripPak/Transflo Express kiosks for transferring money and scanning trip documents.

"We are happy to bring professional drivers another full-service TA travel center along I-20 between Birmingham and Atlanta," said Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters, in a statement. "We continue to look to add locations to the network that have the space and potential for us to offer drivers a wide variety of amenities and services."

The opening of TA Lincoln, Alabama adds to a total 252 TA and Petro Stopping Centers.
