Market-specific printer manufacturer TRANSACT Technologies Inc. is set to display its lineup of printers specifically designed for point-of-sale and self-service retail applications at the 99th annual National Retail Federation (NRF) Convention and Expo later this month.
Located in booth #244, the TRANSACT team will feature the company's Ithaca 8000, Ithaca 8040 and Epic 880 printers designed for POS and kiosk applications.
The Ithaca 8000 is a dual-purpose printer that allows receipts to be printed on standard thermal paper or liner-free label, with applications such as retail receipts, video, CD and DVD case labels, price labels, shelf tag labels, bag labels and processing labels.
The Ithaca 8040 thermal liner-free sticky label printer produces labels designed to adhere to hot or cold beverage cups, and the Epic 880 thermal roll receipt printer has a compact, modular design and an auto paper-loading feature, as well as the capability to print receipts varying from 2.5 to 10 inches in length on either 4- or 6-inch paper rolls. TRANSACT bills the Epic 880 as "the perfect choice for rugged kiosk applications."
This year's NRF conference is set for Jan. 10-13 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
