Austin, Texas-based TouchMate has released its outdoor kiosk, Enduro, intended for the entertainment, health care and retail markets, the company announced.
The kiosk consists of a 19-inch 1600 nit outdoor LCD panel with projective capacitive touch technology, an Intel i5 4GB processor standard equipped with networked/Ethernet capabilities over 10/100/1000 Base T Gigabit connections or Wi-Fi and optional 16GB. The machine contains a receipt/ticket printer, barcode scanners, RFID readers and shock sensors to manage financial transactions at all hours.
Enduro design options include customized color combinations in automotive-grade finishes and customized branding options, the company said. The kiosk is designed for outdoor functionality with operability in temperatures ranging from 0-130 degrees degrees Fahrenheit with humidity between 20 percent and 100 percent. It is IP65 rated and a controlled with a solid-state thermal device to ensure performance in extreme weather conditions.
It is fully ADA compliant and contains an ultra-high brightness display for viewing from multiple angles.
The Enduro comes with a three-year warranty and on-site servicing.
