The Colorado Rockies plan to debut new check-in tablet kiosks at Coors Field in Denver, according to a report by ABC 7 Denver. The kiosks, manufactured by CLEAR, are designed to reduce wait times.
"The challenge we have is getting people to come spread across enough time frame to get 30 to 40,000 people through the turnstile with a minimal wait," said Vice President of Rockies Ballpark Operations Kevin Kahn. The CLEAR kiosks address this problem while also providing a background check. All users need to do is bring their driver's license, follow the steps and then provide a fingerprint on the tablet kiosk.
CLEAR kiosks have been deployed in the past at airports and allowed fliers to bypass lines for a CLEAR Security Fast Pass membership. Members will also be able to take advantage of fast access lines at Coors Field.
