Thailand utilizes kiosks for ASEAN Economic Community

The Kanjanaburi Providential Administration Office in Thailand is beginning to deploy informational kiosks in preparation for the ASEAN Economic Community(AEC). According to the AEC’s website, its goal is to establish economic integration and development among the member nations of the ASEAN.

According to a Pattaya Mail article, these kiosks will offer information to Kanjanaburi residents about the AEC and how it can improve their lives. These kiosks are part of a bigger plan by the Kanjanaburi Administration to provide a great deal of online educational services to help residents learn different languages, including Korean and Japanese.

If this project is successful, residents will be armed with the knowledge needed to benefit from the AEC.
