Ten Square will reach 2,800 gas pumps

April 9, 2002

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Ten Square's national launch of its digital network will reach consumers at more than 2,800 gas pumps throughout the United States. By the end of 2001, the company plans to have its network installed in 20 major cities, including Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, New Orleans, Phoenix, Sacramento and San Diego.

Ten Square, a San Jose-based interactive broadcasting and publishing company, expects its network to deliver one billion interactive digital content expressions per month. The company has signed agreements with more than 40 independent petroleum retailers, including CITGO Petroleum, which has 13,000 retail locations targeted by Ten Square.

Consumers using pumps equipped with Ten Square's network can select coupons and promotions from national advertisers while they spend the four-minute average time pumping gas. Tulsa, Okla.-based CITGO will earn a portion of the revenues earned through the advertising and promotions.

Ten Square's national network includes not only gas pumps, but is delivered to a variety of POS and ATM locations. Last December, Ten Square signed an agreement with Tidel Technologies Inc., a leading ATM manufacturer, to activate the network on more than 25,000 Tidel ATMs.
