Technik introduces CD/DVD dispenser

COLUMBUS, Neb. - Technik Mfg, Inc. introduced a new product line to dispense CDs and DVDs from kiosks and vending machines, according to a press release. Customers can purchase the dispensing mechanism for OEM installation into kiosks or as a complete freestanding vending machine.

The CD/DVD dispensing mechanism dispenses discs in a variety of packages (5.1 inches x 5.1 inches), including cardboard, paper envelopes, tyvek envelopes and plastic cases. This mechanism can be supplied with a variety of customizable interfacing options.

The CD/DVD vending machine is a standard vending machine capable of processing an entire transaction. It maintains an inventory of two different stacks of discs in separate columns and accepts currency/coin payment.

Technik Mfg, Inc. has produced more 33,000 freestanding vending machines for use in 43 different countries since it began in 1989. The company has experience in vending a wide variety of products, including pull-tab tickets, phone cards, PIN numbers, gift cards, booklets, jar tickets, maps, ink jet cartridges and smart cards.
