Kiosk manufacturer imageHOLDERS developed two OEM solutions for a school. The kiosks, the Integrator Pro and the Shell+ 12, were customized as part of a commission for visitor and student check-ins, according to the press release.
Both kiosks were designed with Microsoft's Surface 3. The Integrator Pro was designed for visitor check-ins to the school. It was designed with a contactless NFC reader and fingerprint scanner to confirm the visitor's identity and a printer to give a receipt to act as the visitor's ID. The Shell+ 12 utilized a contactless reader and fingerprint scanner for students to check-in for classes.
The company worked with OEM device manufacturers to be able to integrate the fingerprint and printer devices into its kiosks. "We have integrated multiple devices into our enclosures before, but this is the first time we have integrated a fingerprint scanner within our Integrator Pro, and we're really pleased with the results," said Pete Thompson, director of imageHOLDERS. "We have worked hard to partner with leading OEM manufacturers, and were pleased to work with Custom on another project."
